
About the Role
Under the general direction of the VP Global Immigration, MSI Immigration Services, the Immigration Specialist provides daily immigration support to the EMEA Region as part of MSI's Immigration Practice Group.
Requirements
PRIMARY JOB COMPONENTS:
Serves as a key resource to client populations in EMEA.
Liaises between employees, local partners, and key internal stakeholders on all immigration matters assigned.
Coordinates with local partners for the timely filing of in-country work authorizations, visa applications, local registrations and residence permits.
Provides client(s) a compliant, comprehensive, and efficient process to support their immigration needs.
Ensures the accurate and timely completion of all immigration paperwork including, but not limited to, document procurement, apostilles, application forms, letters of invitation, etc.
Provides guidance to employee and employer regarding documents, cost & time requirements for visa application.
Provides the necessary information for the Admin Team to complete regional invoices. Review financial records (e.g., vendor invoices, purchase orders, etc.), as needed for the Admin Team to input the information in the internal system.
In cooperation with the Immigration Team, conduct fact finding calls with client(s) to provide an overview of upcoming visa processes and address questions as needed.
Follows up with client(s) to obtain specific outstanding documentation necessary for file completion.
Updates and manage the case management system to ensure latest versions are available.
Provides all the information so the Admin Team can store and manage documents in the case management system ensuring personal and corporate documents are logged, expiration dates, and relevant immigration information is entered on a daily basis.
Provides routine case monitoring as requested by VP, Immigration Services and/or based on a specific guideline (e.g., weekly reports, expiration lists etc.)
Assist on special projects as directed for the EMEA Region.

EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OR EQUIVALENT:
University Degree in a relevant field (Languages, Human Resources, M.A., etc.). **No Law Degrees (J.D./LLM) this is not an Attorney Position.**
Strong interest in global immigration.
Prior experience in immigration, specifically EMEA, is a plus.
WORKING DEMANDS:
Works closely with members of the MSI Immigration team to ensure the accuracy of all information.
Must work independently and manage multiple writing projects simultaneously.
Possess strong understanding of and/or ability to learn regional immigration law (EMEA.) to effectively communicate with third parties.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask using analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational and data entry skills.
Achieve high level of productivity.
Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team.
